I have owned two other NIKE Men's Air Monarch IV Cross Trainer's. The last pair I had lasted 6 years without tearing, coming apart or and other failures. I had minimal wearing down on the bottom sole which, was expected after all the use I put them through. I still wear the old pair for dirty jobs and such.
